Assisted Living
Our two beautiful Assisted Living homes in James Bay and Sidney are part of a provincial program managed by Island Health, accessed through a waitlist process initiated by enlisting a case manager. Assisted Living is more than a program—it’s a considerate and comprehensive strategy to improve daily life and well-being. For an assessment, please contact Island Health Community Health Services.
Publicly subsidized Assisted Living is for seniors and people with physical disabilities who need a safe environment to live and help with daily tasks. A portion of monthly income (70%) is put toward comprehensive benefits.

SHOAL Assisted Living
Location: 10030 Resthaven Dr., Sidney
Shoal Assisted Living is located on the third and fourth floor of SHOAL Centre, where there are 25 single-person suites. Our diverse activities cater to various interests, ensuring an enriching experience. SHOAL Centre membership is an added benefit for residents, offering convenient access to dining facilities on the main floor. Our dining staff and chefs collaborate with Assisted Living to deliver delightful meals. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Parry Place
Location: 408 Parry St., Victoria
A 21-suite subsidized Assisted Living residence in the heart of James Bay, Parry Place is conveniently located only two blocks from a pharmacy, a grocery store and a senior’s centre. Aligned with Beacon’s C.A.R.E. mission and values, we aim to create more than just a residence—we build a genuine home where seniors can truly live their best lives.

Long-Term Care

Each of these Long-Term Care facilities, nestled in the heart of Brentwood, offer 16 suites in an intimate, personalized environment. At Brentwood House and Sluggett House, our emphasis on dignity, autonomy and community ensures that residents feel valued and embraced—their well-being and comfort are central to our care approach.
