Learn & Play
Our nature-based child care programs connect children to the outdoors, fostering an understanding of their relationship with the land. Using our growing knowledge in the Indigenous ways of knowing, we encourage children to respect their interactions with the land and the community they live in.
Our Approach to Care
We are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for children to learn, trust and develop independence. Emphasizing the significance of play, particularly outdoors, we strive to foster emotional, social, creative, cognitive, physical and language growth. Our approach acknowledges children as capable individuals, respects their opinions and embraces their diverse backgrounds.

Little Stars Preschool & Beacon Nature Club
Location: PEXSISEṈ Elementary, 3100 Constellation Ave, Langford
As of June 30, 2025, we will no longer be operating our daycare on school district property, following a recent change in the School District’s 62 selection process for child care providers. Because of this, we are no longer accepting new registrations. Families seeking care at this location after that date are encouraged to contact the newly selected provider, YMCA, for information on their programs and availability.
We want to sincerely thank all the families who have trusted us with their children over the years. It has been a true honour to be part of your child’s early learning journey.
