Assisted Living housing is for seniors and people with disabilities who don’t require full-time care but do need some support to remain independent and active. We’re happy to help!
Beacon Community Services gives compassionate, quality Assisted Living care at 2 modern, comfortable Assisted Living residences: Beacon’s own SHOAL Assisted Living residence in Sidney and Capital Regional Housing’s Parry Place Assisted Living.

The Island Health Authority decides all Assisted Living placements. An Island Health Authority Case Manager must personally assess prospective residents to determine their eligibility. SHOAL Assisted living is a great place to call home. Beacon’s 25 Assisted Living apartments are upstairs in the SHOAL Centre building.
