All families experience challenges. Beacon Community Services’ counselling team can assist families to manage through them.
If your child attends an elementary or middle school on the Saanich Peninsula, our skilled counsellors can help you (and your parenting partner) address what’s getting in the way.
Our program is offered in partnership with School District 63 and Ministry of Children and Family Development. Services are available Monday-Saturday. For more information, please contact Central Intake at 250-655-5305.
Beacon counsellors support families who are in the care of (or about to come into the care of) the Ministry of Children and Family Development. We work in partnership with the ministry and members of your family (of all ages) to support a stronger, healthier family relationship. If you think this service might be appropriate for you, please ask your ministry caseworker for information and a referral.
In partnership with School District 63, a Beacon mental health counsellor offers caring, practical support to students who are registered with the Broadmead Individual Learning Centre in Saanich or the Individual Learning Centre in Saanichton. For more information, please check with school staff.
We offer counselling, mediation and, when appropriate, respite care to help youth and their families cope with a variety of issues, including those related to behavior or parenting. For more information, please contact Central Intake at 250-655-5305.
