For members of our community who are dealing with mental health issues, Beacon Community Services provides compassionate, practical services to promote the development of self-sufficiency and life skills.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Program, Greater Victoria and Salt Spring Island
Beacon Community Services provides free support to families and youth (birth-18 years) who have been diagnosed with, or are suspected to have, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
Our dedicated, knowledgeable Keyworker Services team can:
- Help your family access community resources;
- Assist with the process of being assessed and diagnosed;
- Create personalized strategies that help people with FASD be successful at home, at school, and in the community;
- Assist with planning for the future and helping youth with FASD transition into adulthood;
- And more.

HeArt N Soul Support Group, Saanich Peninsula
Members of this support group meet weekly in Sidney for conversation. The group is self-supporting and facilitated by qualified personnel. All members commit to show respect to attendees by maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of all concerned. Conversations and activities are inclusive of all attendees. Please note that, to attend HeArt N Soul, a referral is required from a doctor or other medical personnel.
