Our skilled, caring volunteers can help. We offer free tax preparation for those with low income. Our Community Income Tax volunteers are trained by Revenue Canada and many have taken additional training focused on assisting Aboriginals, seniors, people with disabilities and others who may have specialized tax needs. You bring in your paperwork and we take care of the rest! Drop-in service Monday-Friday 9am-noon; 1:00 pm-4:00 pm through April (at the SHOAL Centre: 10030 Resthaven Dr., Sidney).
We look forward to serving you!
Our volunteers help and improve lives: thousands of them!
Sidney’s SHOAL Centre is the headquarters for Beacon’s Volunteer Services. From there, Beacon staff coordinate hundreds of generous volunteers who serve communities across the Capital Regional District and Gulf Islands areas.
