Lots of fabulous items!
And – big bonus! – as always, Beacon’s thrift shop proceeds go to help people in our community by funding important, local, free programs and services (like dementia services for seniors, kids’ literacy programs, and volunteer supports).
Beacon Community Services’ Thrift Shops offer affordable, convenient shopping for your entire family. And they’re a great place to donate items you no longer need. Because loyal donors and shoppers help our community, too!
Many non-Beacon thrift shops are private, or donate only a small percentage of sales to the charity they say they represent. We’re proud that Beacon Community Services’ shop proceeds are 100% dedicated to not-for-profit programs and services — and we’re grateful for the community support that makes them possible.
For more than 30 years, Thrift Shop proceeds have funded many Beacon services and programs. Services like the Out of the Rain shelter for homeless youth. Kids’ literacy and play programs. Quality care for seniors living with dementia. And more.
We’re also proud to host free training programs at some Beacon Thrift Shops. Our shops are encouraging places where you can learn the skills you need for working in the retail industry.
