Come one, come all and dance the afternoon away to the oldies but goodies. Enjoy a cup of tea and mini scone. It is a great way to have some fun and socialize on a Friday afternoon.
FUN & IMAGINATION! Enjoy an optional light lunch in the Tides dining room, then join Richard to learn how to create magnificent floral bouquets using a spray bottle: impressionistic, loose and spontaneous. Richard Wong is a professional wildlife artist. His classes are relaxed, fun and fully supported. Everyone is welcome, including absolute beginners. Supplies: Bring your own (ask at SHOAL reception for a list) OR rent a kit directly from the instructor in class for $5. Some supplies available for purchase (masa paper, Chinese brushes, spray bottles).
The Summer Choir is made up of folks from a variety of existing choirs coming together because of their love of music and performing. Their varied backgrounds make for a unique blending of dedicated voices. Simon Leung will be taking the group from Baroque to ABBA! Die Mahler String Quartet will be accompanying, playing music by Handle and Vivaldi. Tickets are available at SHOAL reception or by calling 250-656-5537.
