The Dementia Friends workshop for the public is an opportunity to enhance your knowledge of how to best support people living with dementia in your community. We can all play a role in making our community a great place to live for people living with dementia! Call to register 250-656-5537.

Who says talking about financial issues can’t be fun? Heather Aked and Lori McLeod from Raymond James have developed an engaging way to learn and talk about financial issues first hand. Topics include: Security – financial and personal; Knowledge – educational, spiritual, artistic and cultural; Community – social and community network; Health – physical and mental; Estate – tax planning and charitable giving. Our annual spring craft fair is back and the craft volunteers have been working hard creating all things spring! This sale will be held in SHOAL’s lobby and will feature beautifully crafted handmade items. This is also your chance to get some of Chef Karen’s delicious Easter shortbread cookies before they are being sold at the Tuck Shop.
