By providing information, support, resources and referral services to parents and childcare providers across the province, Child Care, Resource and Referral centres (CCRRs) make it easier for families to find and access responsive, inclusive and high quality licensed and registered childcare.

The Ministry of Education and Child Care provides funding to CCRRs, which work in partnership with the government to improve the accessibility, affordability and quality of childcare in all B.C. communities.

Services for Families

We are here to support families who are looking to find Child Care that suits their needs. Whether in person, by phone or online, we’ll help answer questions about Child Care and connect families to learning opportunities that support healthy child development.

Services for Providers & Workers

CCRRs are here to provide support and resources to Child Care workers and providers. If you are a licensed Child Care Provider, fill out the form below to register with us. You’ll gain access to services, workshops and training opportunities, most of which are free of charge. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us by email.

Lending Library

The Lending Library is a wonderful place for educators, parents, guardians and caregivers to find useful tools that will encourage children’s healthy development and learning. 

We offer delivery services on Salt Spring and the Saanich Peninsula, and are currently working on pick-up and drop-off sites for each of the School District 64 Gulf Islands. Please indicate if you require this service when you reserve a library item, and we will make arrangements for delivery. If there are items you think would be useful additions to the library, please let us know.
